We are proud of how our schools continue to provide excellent services for ALL students. It is critically important that we come together again to address the financial needs of the school district and help build our community’s future.
On November 3rd, the Wauseon community will have the chance to RENEW an income tax levy, used by over 200 school districts throughout the state of Ohio. This Earned Income Tax will continue for income earners, and will not affect retirees or property taxes.

The renewal allows Wauseon Exempted Village Schools to maintain the programs and services students receive today while continuing to plan for the future.
A YES vote continues the existing 1.75% earned income tax at no additional cost for a continuing period of time.
No tax increase, just continued support.

A 2.8 mill emergency levy (property tax) will expire at the end of 2027 and will not be renewed. This will result in a savings of $98 per $100,000 of property value.
